Touring by bicycle, e-bike, horseback, Segway, canoe, kayak, jetboat, SUP, catamaran, RailCruiser, helicopter, historic paddleboat, authentic Māori waka (boat), zipline, suspension bridges through forest, 4WD, authentic WWII amphibious war craft, and of course on foot – plus a few more we probably haven’t invented yet – are all possible in Rotorua.
 
Having such a variety of transportation modes means there’s a tour suitable for nearly any size group. This also means Rotorua is the perfect place to host events such as weddings, reunions or conferences, where you want your guests to get out and experience as much of Rotorua as possible while they’re here. Many of the operators will create custom tours, too, if you’d like incorporate team-building activities or something a bit more unique and special.
